Posted by Gregman on January 22, 2007 at 2:27 am

I compiled 6 camera angles into a multiclip in Final Cut pro 5.1 and I am done making my edits. Now, I want to lay a different color correction effect
into each of the 6 angles. My question: is there some way to add a filter to each of the 6 maser angles, so I don’t have to go clip-by-clip to add the filters?
Basically, I want to only have to add the filter to the first frame of each 6 angles and have that filter automatically apply to each cut from that particular angle.
I know I can do this before I begin my edit, but I want to do it afterward instead. Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Greg

Shane’s link has gone bad. Does anyone know where I can find this material? Alternatively, can someone please explain how to apply a filter to all cuts of an active angle? I ran into a problem applying a filter to an angle of a multiclip that is already on the timeline. The technique described in the manual does not work – effects get applied only to one instance of the active angle, not to all cuts of the angle. Or am I dreaming and expecting to get too much?
