when i inserted chapter marks in my edit in FCP, and i watched the exported movie on DVD, and tested skipping from chapter to chapter, the chapters marks came out late each time. Do you have to set them early to compensate for this?
    thanks!

there are chapter markers and another type of marker.

I think you want the other type of marker (compression marker i think), as it will force an i-frame in
the encoding process and be right where you want it

Yes what Borjis says is right. Maybe putting the chapter marker together with a compresion marker. Anyway it suposed that FC set a compression marker in any of the cuts and transition when you export to Compressor from the time-line.
    Salud,
