i pulled up an HDV1080i60 project and all is well except that it only outputs a still frame on my output monitor. the timeline plays smoothly in the canvas, but only puts out the still frame from wherever the cursor started. i can scrub through the timeline, and the output monitor scrubs as well, but still won’t play.

i then pulled up my last NTSC-DV project, had the two of them side by side, and the DV project played fine on the monitor. i went back and forth between them to see what was different and couldn’t find any differences (thus far) in the settings. any idears??

Sounds like your video output settings (view::video playback) is set to DV, not HDV. As a result, FVP is trying to run a real-time downconvert from HDV to SD, which it can’t do, so it’s freezing on your frame.

THANKS! You are a wise one…i hadn’t looked at that one. Seems like it would’ve set up with the Easy Setups? Oh well, working fine now. Thanks again…
