    Hi

I’m working with a video filter that requires me to deinterlace upper and lower fields in separate sequences, apply the filter, and then reinterlace the sequences. I have a plug-in that should reinterlace them, but my question is: how do I get these two clips into the same sequence again? I’ve tried putting them one above the other, and applying the reinterlace, but this doesn’t seem to work. I’d really appreciate any suggestions.

    thanks

What you want to get is quite strange. To get one field from each of the sequences and put them togeter as alternative fields. There is a RE-interlacing filter from G. NATTRESSE (I’ve never use it) but I do not think can do what you want.

JES Deinterlacer gets a mention every now and again, I was looking at it earlier today with respect to a different problem.
Although not universally popular, it may be the solution you’re looking for.
