  Upgrading to FCP vers 5.1.2

  Hi all – Happy New Year!

  I’m currently running FCP vers 5.0.4 on my Mac. I’ve downloaded the v5.1.2 upgrade but a warning during the installation says I can only upgrade an existing 5.1 version.
  Can I directly upgrade to 5.1.2 from 5.0.4? (I’m not pressing the go-ahead button until I can be sure that it won’t mess up my system!). Thanks.

  No.
  If you are in Scotland the you have until March 19th to send off your Install disk to be exchanged for the paid upgrade:

  Thanks for that Paul. Have just packaged up the original discs, paid me money, and look forward to the Crossgrade discs arriving.
