    Hi,
I’m setting up to cut a small feature using FCP. First time with fcp. The footage is full res HD from HVX200. I have the footage on FW drives but will import them onto a raid 0 array. The DP shot 1080 24p. There are so many settings, I don’t know where to start with all of the preferences and settings. Would appreciate any info. And is the raid system difficult to set up? Thanks in advance.

Well, choose the DVCPRO HD 1080PA24 from the EASY SETUPS, create a new sequence (trash the other one) and then begin importing.

Your Raid should be set up as a Raid Stripe, 128k.

Editing this footage is pretty easy really. So much so that you think that you must be doing something wrong because it is TOO easy.
