• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Video looks like film even though it’s set to 30 fps. Any ideas why?

  We have been working on our Final Cut system since the day we got it. I’m trying to learn more about it everyday since my engineers have no clue about Macs. My issue is that when I capture footage and then try to export it to DVC it gets choppy. It looks almost like film…23fps.

  I have tried to easy setup for many different settings and have found nothing that works.

  Any ideas on what is causing this?

  I send all of my media to one harddrive that should be fast enough to handle this sort of thing. It was sold to use to do just that job. I’m really confused and frustrated about this.

  FIgured it out!!! In another post I had issues with my audio being 4 frames behind. They told me how to fix that. Then it hit me… I bet the video problem is in the same area so I check out the menue and there it was. My playback from set to a lower setting for some reason.

  Wow I feel good now.
