Activity Forums Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy HDV on a Macbook dual core. Does it work well enough?

    Personally, I don’t know for sure about the performance BUT I have heard tales of people using G4 Powerbooks to edit HDV.

    Yup i have used my G4 1.25 ghz iBook to capture and edit HDV. HDV files are very similar to DV files so i noticed no real difference so what u r using is overkill!!!

    I would not say that what you are using is overkill, your render and conforming times will be light-years faster then liams ibook
