No video input except firewire
FCP will no longer accept any video input from anything other than firewire.
My Aja IO and Blackmagic Decklink output video from FCP without a problem but FCP will not recognize a video input from either of them. I have downloaded the latest drivers for all and I am running the latest FCP. I have tried trashing preferences, repairing disk permissions, uninstalling/reinstalling both the drivers and the program itself but to no avail. I still cannot get video from either analog or SDI inputs. Any ideas on how I can solve this issue?

You have an IO AND a Decklink card? Decklink must be HD, right? Wonder if they conflict with each other somehow… AJA has a program included with the drivers that will check your system for compatibility problems… might run that software.
