How do I do multiple shots in small rectangles over black?
I need to create a commercial that has mutiple shots running simultaneously over a black background. The current example would be the Wachovia Bank spots running on the air. Is there a way to design this in FCP5? I would need to shrink each shot to a quarter frame or less and see the black backgound behind. So multiple shots are moving concurently. Or, do I just need to purchae After Effects and use that?
    Thanks,

    Jeff,

Read up on using the Scale and Center controls in the Viewer’s Motion Tab, it’s pretty easy. You could also use the DH_Box plug-in from Digital Heaven. In either case you would position your clips to play concurrently on multiple tracks in your sequence, then make adjustments to each one. Put a black slug full frame behind the other clips.
