I have two uncompressed quicktime files which I have captured through my Black Magic card that ar playing havok with FCPHD.
I have captured the footage at uncpmpressed PAL as I normally would to encode for DVD or to trim in FCP. However I am now finding that when I export my file using quicktime conversion I end up with an incompatible frame rate of 24.38 fps. I obviosly cannot use this type of file and I have no idea why this has started happening!
I assume someone has changed a setting and not told me but in the meantime I cnat get around this problem.
    Any suggestions?

Why are you using Quicktime Conversion? What Codec are you going to? Where are you seeing this false frame rate (QT player?)

I’m outputting using quicktime conversion so that I can set my compression to ‘None’. I then encode using Cinema Craft SP and it’s there that it cant decide what the frame rate is. When I view the quicktime itself it plays ok but the frame rate in the movie info is incorrect there too.
