Just upgraded from 5.0.4 to 5.1.2 and now my Boris Continuum 3 filters won’t work anymore. Saw that there is a patch for BCC 4 but not for BCC 3. What’s the solution??

BCC 3 works on my system. You need to follow Boris’ instructions very carefully.

I wish Boris would fix that. It seems as if every time I go to use BCC or Red 4 plugins I have to go through the trashing and caps lock rigamarole. It’s too easy to cause a problem if you don’t follow the instructions for applying a filter (ie you can’t have the filter tab open when you apply).

Another bug I found the other day relates to BCC4’s Chroma Key filter. You can’t have the playback setting on “Unlimited RT”. You have to set it to “Safe RT” for the filter to work. Otherwise you get a black background instead of your b.g. layer.

Yeah, especially the part about keeping Caps Lock on the first time you launch FCP after the install.

I took the BCC plug ins folder out of the FCP plug ins folder. Won’t be using BCC 3 in FCP until they really fix this

I thought this was broken for a bit. It’s all fixed now?

I don’t understand what you mean. The whole thing between BCC 3 and FCP 5.1.2 looks so uncertain to me that I took out the whole BBC 3 plug ins folder from FCP. If I need BCC, I’ll use it in After Effects.
