  After Effects Video/Audio adding Text

  Hello,

  I’m really new to After Effects, and I’m testing around with it, I get and Avi file, that I have edited in Premiere and I put it in afterEffects to add some animated text and that kind of stuff, but when i finish and export, it does not export the audio. Im not really to sure now do I do the text and then put it together in Premiere, If so how do i do it so the text is transparent, or Am I doing something wrong here.

  I appricate that, but that didn’t help much, my problem is I’m bring in an audio/video file, now i can preview the audio, but once i render it and export it, the audio does not exist.. not sure why.. thanks

  Make sure you enable audio on the output module. If you want to export your animation with transparency, you have to use a CoDec that supports Alpha channels which most AVIs don’t, so you probably have to switch to Quicktime for that and use PNG or Aniamtion compression.
