  Illustrator Importing Problem

  I am trying to copy a closed illustrator path into AE directly to use it as a mask. But AE is not recognizing clipboard elements from Illustrator.

  This just started happening. Anyone know what might be causing this?

  Check your clipboard settings in Illu. The must be set to AICB, not PDF-compliant. Maybe you somehow reset it.
