  FCP 5.1.2 maximizing RAM usage

  Howdy Cowpokes,

  My MP has 5 GBs of RAM and System Profiler confirms that all is OK with all the modules

  Phil,

  At this point FCP is only capable of using 2.5gb RAM maximum. The next generation 64-bit version of FCP will be able to utilize a lot more.
