I’m fairly new to FCP. My inexperience has allowed me to create several scratch discs with media in three or four locations. I want to consolidate and have it all on one place on my esata drive. I want to then take this drive, with a copy of my program, to another workstation where I will dump the finished show to digitbeta. What is the best workflow for me so that when I open the program again, find and reconnect with all the media files with my sequences and bins at the remote location?

    Thanks
    Shley

As Uli says — and just to clarify, the operation you want to use is the one that says “move” all the data from the open job to a new hard drive location. Uncheck all the other boxes and stuff and the two green lines should indicated that the media in the job and what you are moving are the same number of gigabytes.
