    hello FCP forum.

been looking forward to ask my first question here…

i am imporing a quicktime animation file exported from after effects on a PC. the quicktime was exported as 25 fps (was imported into AE from FCP at 25 fps as well)

in the browser window on FCP, in the video rate colummn, the same file appears as 32 fps (!?)

sequence settings are set to PAL.

any other quicktime i import behaves normally.

i re-exported a few seconds from AE forcing a frame rate on the animation compression (instead of current which is default), same result…

why? does it have any influence? i am syncing a clip and it seams to affect the fine-sync even when i use compressor to convert it to DV PAL 25fps…

any help would be deeply apreciated

    peace.
