When a complete project is copied using MEDIA MANAGER and moved to another back-up disk, will the files be “identical” to the original? For example if the original files were DV quality…… will the same original DV resolution be maintained?

Yes. However, for some unknown reason, even when the copy render files tab is checked, not all render files end up making it to the new destination. So, keep that in mind.

Yar, check and triple-check your Media Manager copy.
If the MM copy is going to another shop, be sure to allow yourself time to provide a second copy.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
