I am having a hard time getting a good quality video on the web. I am needing to post video on myspace film for the time being until I have a site of my own up. I currently have a five minute video and it needs to be: “Windows Media, AVI, MPEG/MPG, MP4, FLV, RealMedia, or QuickTime format. The maximum size is 100MB.”
It’s my understanding that quicktime is just a container for other formats such as mpeg or mp4. I will obviously have to resize the frame dimensions and possibly the quality settings and also convert to square pixels but I’m not sure what key frames are or what they do.

    thanx,

    jeff

How important is quality and accesibility for you?
Can you do WMV (Flip4Mac, Compression Master)? Do you have Sorenson Pro 3 (you have to buy it and use in Cleaner for best quality or buy Squeeze)?
Is the video for “home” viewers or is it a demo that you want to land you work? For the later I’d use at least 320×240, full frame rate, 500kbps (depends on content and your target market).
