  Help! Extremely elementary problems

  Had someone at the company update Final Cut to 5.1, now all my settings are gone and besides multiple other problems, the most frustirating one right now is moving video around the screen, I need to position a piece of scale video inside a clip and I can’t drag it to the right place, i can’t drag it around the screen at all…

  Sorry, i know this is very elementary stuff, i’m just getting very frustirated…

  Go to your View Mode pop up menu and choose Image + Wireframe. Does that help?

  In the canvas window there are 3 buttons – between the timecode readouts – the one on the right has IMAGE / IMAGE & WIREFRAME / WIREFRAME. Make sure Image and wireframe is chosen.
