  Firewire deck control in Final Cut 5???\

  I have recently installed final cut 5 and its running on my machine. I am having problems connecting to my Sony DSR 45 Via firewire. It doesnt fully recognize the deck. Meaning I can not see the image in the Digitize window. I have some fuctionality with play stop, etc but no image or sound. It see’s the deck through Imovie but not in final cut. Never had this problem before and its worked great ever since the final cut 3 days.

  Any thoughts on the issues

  See this is why I love the Cow. That was Bingo or eureka.
  I had QT 7 installed and would have never thought that it was the culprit.
