  Gang Sync Multiclip to a sequence

  Hi There,

  I’m cutting music video which was previously being cut on FCP4.5 and i’m now using FCP5 [although i’m new to FCP5], already there is part of an edit within a sequence, which i am tidying up and adding shots to.

  So i’ve created a multiclip out of all the performance shots,and i’m thinking that i want to be able to gang sync the multiclip to the already editited sequence, but i’ve found that if i select a shot in the multiclip the gang sync is lost, this isn’t a major problem, but slightly tedious, am i missing something ?

  also i can’t seem to just set an in and out point in the multiclip and drag the shots onto the timeline… am i just going about this the wrong way ? or is this just not possible with the multiclip function ?

  Any advice would be much appreciated
