  what the difference between these codec?

  The AJA 10 bit log RGB codec and the AJA 10 bit RGB codec………whats the difference?

  Logarithmic formats store more color fidelity in the bright tones, sacrificing some in the darker ends (where the human eye doesn’t notice it). So if you have bright daylight shots and need to correct them, you may prefer logarithmic, for toned down or dark shots simple linear RGB.
