  Upgrading from 4.5 to 5.1 FCP HD

  HI

  My boss just bought a MAcBook Pro with 5.1 HD. We want to rather install it on my G5 1.8 Duel Processor. which has 4.5 HD.
  What is the best way to do this? Will it upgrade or do I have to reinstall? Any Intel conflict?

  Shouldn’t be a problem… I’d perform a clean install of Tiger on your machine first though. If you did that already when you upgraded to Tiger, then you shouldn’t have a problem installing the Studio 5.1 on PPC at all… it’s “universal” code…
