  FCP 5.0.4 The Green! The Horrible Green!

  Hello everyone. I’m having a rather interesting problem with FCP. My video previews are running amok! I’ve done a lot of searching through this forum to no avail. My problem is difficult to describe in keywords. So let me do my very best here. Please see below:

  V1: Plain old run of the mill video that was captured a short time ago from DVCPRO, Motion Blur Applied (FCP Default) 338%, 32 Samples.

  V2: Color Matte (FCP Default), 65% Opacity.

  The playhead can be moved throughout the clips on the timeline, but as soon as you tell it to play (via spacebar, etc.) and stop it, the issue is present. After playing the video and seeing

  Last time I saw this I trashed my preferences for FCP and it simply went away…

  Hey Ricwi,

  I ran into a similar problem a while back.

  If you have a Kona card, run conflict checker to see if you have a codec conflict. My problem occurred when I thought it would be cool to add the blackmagic codecs to my QT Codec library, which only needed the Kona codecs.
