  Playback issue with Facillis 3tb FC Lanshare and IO

  Apple G5/2.5Q/4GB/250/7800, Apple FCP, AJA IO, FACILLIS TERRABLOCK 3.6TB 12D, ATTO Celerity 41ES

  That’s the setup, all versions were latest and greatest as of less than a month ago.

  The issue is during playback (one layer of uncompressed 10 bit, 2 audio layers). After approximately 30 minutes of playback, the video (confidence monitor and overlay on lcd) hiccups for a second then picks back up while the audio continues seamlessly; if you continue to play back, the video and audio are no longer in sync, with the video significantly behind the audio.

  Any takers?

  Call Facilis, they’re easy to speak with & very helpful.
  FWIW, they have a prerelease of their raid 5 software. If you’re still on your first year of support you can get the upgrade for free, otherwise it’s an upgrade purchase. I’m looking forward to un-mirroring my drives!
