    Hello,

I am trying to export a pic with a keyed out background to DVD Studio Pro. Is this possible, so far, I’ve tried the quicktime converstion to still image, but when I import the pic into DVD studio pro there is a black background. I am going to be putting a brushstroke shape underneath my text pic in DVD studio pro, that’s why I need the text keyed from the background.

Thanks. I appreciate any insight and info you are able to share

Maybe try to make a still frame in the viewer first and de-interlace. then do the qt to still.

What format are you exporting to?
if you select PNG during your export, it should maintain any transparencies.
A stop-over at photoshop would do the trick too.

Track 1 has to be turned off or else fcp will put black into the transparency just like it does for video.
