  is it possible to change the Start/End media TC for a clip…

  A client wishes to provide an EDL of his offline, but unfortunately his offline clip has TC which does not reference the burnt in time code.

  What I want for him to do is change the media start and end of each clip to that of the BITC.

  I have found a way to do it where he can make the clip offline, but was wondering if there is another way… and if anyone has tried it this way…

  Could working with aux timecode help? You can put any timecode in those fields, media online or not.
