  Mixing P2 24PN footage with standard 29.97 DV footage

  I am going to be editing a show using both new footage shot on a Panasonic HVX-200 in 24PN and existing footage in SD DV 29.97. In the Easy Set up for FCP, should I use DV-NTSC or DV-NTSC 24P(23.98)? I would prefer the 24P film look, but I’m wondering does FCP convert the 29.97 footage to 24P(23.98)?

  You can use Cinema Tools to convert the 29.97 material to 23.976
