Hi, here’s a tricky one that I just can’t seem to get my head around…

I have animated a large image (3000×4000) as a background on a small comp. (720×408)
The “camera” moves from one location of the image to the next on the beat.

Now the client has given me a larger version of the same thing… (about 15000×20000) because they want to be able to zoom really close to the image without pixelisation.

I’ve worked on the animation already and don’t want to start again/modify every position… but if I replace the image with the large one, the section of the image that is currently visible isn’t the same.

So… is there a way to have a layer/composition the same size, but have the effect of having a higher dpi. (more information on the same layer size)

    Thanks,
    Michael
