I’ve got a serious probelm. Our editing suite just started to “act up” when playing back HD-footage.

Okey! How does one prevent or “fix” these issues?

The files I’m working on now was captured on a seperate station and transfered via a fire-wire drive to this one.

    Erik,

I’d run Disk Warrior on the raid and see what it finds. Its very possible that your large HD video file was written in two or more fragments and the raid simply could not make the move from one fragment to another quickly enough to display HD. Disk Warrior will optimize the files on the array and should prevent that from happening.
