  FCP Grading

  I’m wondering if there is any way to apply a grade to a sequence/ set of clips without having to apply the filter to each individual clip (namely because this is a real pain if you want to tweak the grade later).
  I am thinking from an AVID point of view, where the grade can be applied to filler or title segments. In FCP the filter only seems to have effect on the actual segment, and not on any layers beneath it – or am I missing a trick.
  So far the only way I can see to do this is to create a nest and grade that. Any alternatives?

  Apply the filter/grade to your first clip & tweak until happy.
  Then select that clip and copy
  Select all the clips you want that filter/grade to be applied to
  Then paste attributes and select from the box what you want to be applied.
