  deleting bins

  Hi

  When I delete projects or clips it goes into trash can but where does the sequences and bins go after I delete them?

  Clips don’t go into a trash can, unless you’re talking about deleting media off the hard drive at the finder level. It can also be done in FCP with the “make offline” function. But that’s the media – not the clip. If you delete the clip from a bin, it’s gone. If you delete the sequence from a bin it’s gone. If you delete a bin it’s gone.

  Of course you can always launch a backup of your project and copy and paste the bins, but they most likely won’t be the same. Depending on your autosave settings.
