at the moment, i am filming a low lights scene. I am using various effects and presets to make my footage look blue and moon lit. does anyone know of any plug-in that measures the amout quality an effect is taking from the actual footage (how much noise).

is there something i should keep an eye out for in the histogram or in the info pallete. the histogram would make a good tutorial.

    thanx for your help
