  FCP to After Effects

  Hi all.
  I want to take a video clip (with sound) from my FCP 4.5 project into Aftereffects 6.5 pro work on it then return it back into my FCP project. What is the best was to do this? Is there any loss in resolution to the clip when it is reimported back into FCP.

  Depends on the filters you use and the codec you use out of AE.
  It’s more complicated that you might think and you haven’t provided enough information.
  But, if you use the correct settings, such as using a lossless codec, no, you will experience no loss of quality while the processing is being done inside AE.
