    Hello all,

I have found a work around solution for this problem but I would like to know if anyone else had it and how you fixed it. Recently working uncompressed a client of mines projects titles would have small green specks around the edges when FCP 5 rendered them. The text was created using the TEXT tool, and the green only showed up on screen when I used the drop shadow effect and rendered it.

This is a bug with FCP’s 10 bit rendering.

So the only way around this is rending my titles out with ALPHA channels and re importing them? Wow, what a waste of time. Hopefully they will fix this before they release the Intel Version.

    Thanks

Agreed. If you are creating titles in another program such as photoshop, you need to create the drop shadows in there and then flatten them. Big pain in the bootie.

Please, b*itch, moan, and complain here. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
