  fcp and ae firewire out problem

  Hi All,

  I have just posted below the problem of no DV out on the FCP 4.5 after an upgrade of FCP and a Qtime upgrade to 7. This problem is also found in After Effects 6.5, where I cannot have a DV PAl out for preview anymore.

  I really curse the upgrade I made!!!!
  Trashing of receipts of Quicktime dis not work

  Anyway can I go back like to an older state of my computer: have the old versions prior to the upgrade: an old system THAT WORKS!!!!!

  How did you install, did you simply do an upgrade or did you do a full ground up reinstall? If you didn’t do a wipe and install you should as you will have significantly fewer hiccups.
