My seminar video has inserts of JPEG files converted from Powerpoint slides. It was output direct to a DVD recorder in LP record mode. The result was my JPEGs came out slightly blurred when played back on Reall Player, lacking the sharpness of the orignal slides. They looked ok on mu broadcast monitor. Need advice on possible remedies, thnks a million!

[RayLee] “. It was output direct to a DVD recorder in LP record mode.”

Well, that’s your answer. You are not only compressing it, but HIGHLY compressing it by using LP mode. It will definately be softer.

Get the original JPEG files from the presenters. Or better yet, get the PowerPoint Presentation and convert the images to JPEG’s.
