It seems that if I take a Photoshop file that was saved on the Mac that final cut is one, it will make a layered sequence for a photoshop file like Final Cut is supposed to. However, from another computer on the network, it will bring in a flat image. Both on PS CS2, however the other computers are PCs so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. If I open the files in PS on the mac and resave then it will treat it as a sequence. Any ideas? Is it a PC mac thing or just it has to be from the exact mac with the final cut? Also, is there a way to bring in a PS file as a flat image into final cut if you want to (without flattening it in Photoshop)?

Photoshop on the PC has a different layer structure than Photoshop on a Mac.

The simplest was to get around it is to open up a PC PSD on the Mac and Save As a PSD.

    That should be enough.
