  HELP – Deck and DV cam not working after Tiger upgrade

  The subject says it all — I’ve just upgraded to Tiger and now neither my Sony deck or firewire DV cam plugged directly into my G5 are recognized by FCP HD.

  The devices were mistakenly left plugged into the computer during the Tiger upgrade. PLEASE do not tell me that this fried the devices….

  Just do a quick search and you will find MANY people having the same issue. You will also find the solution to your problem. I will give you a hint. QUICKTIME.
