  QT losing gamma in DVD S4

  The setup:
  running Avid Adrenine, done with the cut and trying to export as a QT to put into DVD Studio Pro4. Whether I do it as a self contained movie or just a reference, when the DVD is done I have lost a lot of gamma. I then put it into compressor to redo the gamma and it was working fine but now it stopped working and I don’t know why. Could there be a conflict with QT if someone upgraded it? I have OS X 10.3 .
