    Hi All,

Have seen similar posts below, but no definitive answer…so hoping someone might be able to help.

Have created 30 second graphic animation, with text crawling at bottom of screen – this is looks perfect in After Effects and FCP, and when I dump this to Beta tape.

But when I export this from FCP as a self-contained-movie (Uncompressed 8 bit) into either iDVD or DVDSP, the text crawling at the bottom is massively unreadable (really blurred and little jerky). No matter how I export the movie, when I burn it to video DVD it looks rubbish.

I have also tried exporting via compressor and then creating the DVD in DVDSP. This way, the text is less blurred but instead there is glitching over the letters, as if I have exported it using a compressed codec – which I havent. I have also tried playing a Beta Tape of this animation straight into a DVD Recorder – again the text is less blurry but the glitching still occurs.

Can anyone help? This is causing me a massive headache!! I will also post this in the DVDSP forum, if it could be the encoding of the final movie.

    Cheers

    Xavier
