When I have several projects that share some of the same media files, when I can easily get an overview which media files that I can delete, or on the other hand, whict projects that use those specific media files ?

Not easy I’m afraid… but not impossible by any means.

The answer is to combine all projects into one project, all clips from each etc… then select all of the sequences you want to keep. Next, type cmd+f, and set the find dialog box that opens to search the entire project for media that is UNUSED, then click Find All. The resulting window will contain all media that’s imported into this new project, but isn’t in the sequences… you can then select all of these clips and control click on one of them and select “Make Offline”, from there you can delete the files.
