I am creating graphics in AE for a 16 x 9 project in FCP. I have been creating them using the 720×480 widescreen comp and it has been working fine when I import them into my FCP project. That is until I made a graphic with a circle in it. The circle comes in looking squished. What should I change my comp settings to, so I can get my circle to import round in FCP?
This is my first 16 x 9 project so any advice would be much appreciated.

Does AE specify whether or not the project is using square or rectangular pixels?

You want it to be rectangular if it can. Let us know if that’s the problem or not.

If you pick the NTSC DV Widescreen preset, it automatically changes the pixel Aspect ratio to D1/DV NTSC Widescreen (1.2). You can’t change that to square if you want the widescreen.
