I have footage from a 2 camera shoot. the cameras were beta SP.
They were captured to Final Cut as Uncompressed 8-bit.
The sequence settings match the clips.
I exported the quicktime movie with the sequence settings.
the file looks has a weird interlacing issue…When someone moves across the frame, there are obvious (interlace-looking) lines.
There was an intro created by someone else (animation codec) which looks clean.

Is this a Final Cut Studio interlace setting that I have overlooked when importing the orginal footage?

Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

Have you tried watching the footage on an NTSC monitor? The problem you are describing commonly happens with LCD displays, even if the clip has no interlacing problems…
