  making a surf text effect

  Ello there,

  Im making this surfmovie and i would like to create text that comes with a wave(a wave in colors), for all the surfers names and so…
  Any one an idea of how to create this or anymore ideas about this effect?

  Your question is a little unclear, but I think I may understand.

  You want the text of the stars’ names to have a wave colour inside it?

  If that is the case:

  – Create some text
  – Put some footage of a wave below it… I’m assuming you can easily get this
  – in the “mode – T – TrkMat” column to the left of the timeline … turn track matte to alpha ( top option of 4 )

  Now you’ll have text with a wave texture.

  No not at all,

  I mean de waves have to create the letters, like the tutorial from Emanuel Eriksson where the letters are formed by sand…
