Importing subtitles into final cut pro
I am looking to import subtitles (listed with timecode in/out), in a text format into final cut pro, to lay over video, could someone advise the easiest way to do this!?
I have done it in DVD studio Pro, without a problem, but don’t require a DVD of the final, instead need a quicktime movie with the subtitles burnt in.
I read that filemaker pro application can create a template then convert to an XML log that can be imported into FCP but the process looked quite long winded.
Could someone advise the simplest process, or maybe another way of doing it within a different application/s?

Although i don’t disagree with Mr. San very often (long time no see btw!), the original question was about open titles.
At the moment i’m working on a subtitle application that has (among a zillion other features) FCP XML support, it comes with an enhanced text generator that has a border and shadow if you like.
