  Trying to capture HDV from FCP to HVR-Z1U

  I’m trying to print to video / record footage from timeline using my Z1U as a tape deck. I am working with a Firewire connection and an HDV sequence, yet every time I connect the device, I can’t seem to get it to play on the camera. The image gives me one frame that doesn’t change when I play back the sequence. What is going on?

  What I’m trying to do is record an HDV sequence in SD on my camera. It seems to work on an SD sequence, but not on HDV. I try both the DV-NTSC and the HDV 1080i settings, and it still does not work. I’ve tried another camera, and am experiencing the same problem.

  Suggestions? What settings do you use to print to video from HDV?
