  FCP 5.0 Tascam 1884 Issue

  After several months of trouble free FCP with FW1884 control I am now having some control and audio issues…the control commands are cutting in and out as well as the audio…it seems like the console and FCP are not in constant communications. The console works perfectly well with other apps such as soundtrack and cubase…I have a G5 dual 2.0 will 2.5 gigs of ram, external drives……any insight would be helpful…thanks….
