  mulitple workstations accessing the same drive

  Hello,

  I am in the midst of organizing a large edit for a documentary…two editors, working on two G4 platforms. Final Cut 5.

  Ideally we would like to access the same drives simultaneously from two separate computers.
  There are five drives, daisy-chained via firewire together.

  Is there a simple solution to this? Cost effectiveness is an issue

  Some time back, I think I heard of someone using a SanCube firewire SAN for something like this. I’d expect you’d probably drop a lot of frames, though.
